JobJack chief technology officer Gerhard De Wet has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards.
Gerhard De Wet has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards for his role as JobJack chief technology officer.
Gerhard joined JobJack in 2019. He initially served as a senior software developer at the company before stepping into his current leadership role.
He is among the nominees competing to take home one (or more) of the awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of IT” this year, including the CIO of the Year title.
He began his career as a consulting electrical engineer at Aurecon. Gerhard holds a BEng in electrical and electronic engineering from Stellenbosch University.
Following the success of the fifth annual CIO Awards in 2025, CIO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in IT and their achievements. On 25 November, the 2026 nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Inanda Club in Sandton.
