Kamal Pillay was appointed the CIO of SANParks in October 2016. He has over twenty five years of experience working in government departments. Kamal has held positions as the chief director for information and communication technology at the Department of Environmental Affairs and the manager of information and communication technology at the Department of Local Government and Traditional Affairs amongst many others. He has Master’s Degree from the University of Pretoria.
