Ebrahim Rahman joins Epson Middle East as head of IT

Epson, a multinational electronics company, has appointed Ebrahim Rahman as its new head of IT, effective 1 April 2024.

Ebrahim is a proven systems, applications and products (SAP) specialist. Prior to joining Epson, Ebrahim was the SAP IT applications manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, and SAP integration manager at BCX. He also spent a decade with UCS Solutions, occupying roles such as cloud delivery manager and his last role as SAP client delivery manager.

Ebrahim is passionate about customer service and the creation of sound service delivery environments. His key drivers include innovation, human capital development and operational optimisation with a particular focus on IT strategy and service management.

He is a graduate of Durban University of Technology, holding a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Additionally, Ebrahim has completed Stellenbosch University’s management development programme (MDP), aimed at enhancing the managerial and leadership skills of middle managers. He also holds multiple SAP certifications, further underlining his proficiency in the field.
