Henny Schlebusch steps up as global IT director at Rhenus Air and Ocean

Henny will lead and align IT operations across Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions, as well as the Americas.

Rhenus Logistics, one of the leading logistics specialists with global business operations, has promoted Henny Schlebusch to the role of global IT director at Rhenus Air and Ocean. Prior to assuming this role, Henny was the regional IT director: EMEA and MD at Rhenus ICT Services.

Henny is a chartered CIO (SA) and a strategic and experienced IT professional with experience in leading agile delivery teams (including offshore teams), agile solution delivery, project management, agile methodologies, solution design and implementation. He is also passionate about digital transformation and product delivery – to create maximum business value and enable a simplified customer experience.

Before joining Rhenus, Henny was an application development manager at FNB and a system manager at C. Steinweg Group. At Genasys Technologies, Henny was a solutions developer, responsible for investigating and assessing tasks/deliverables and proposing a solution when required.

He holds a Bcom degree from Regent Business School and a higher certificate in information technology: computer programming from Richfield Graduate School of Technology.
