SAP Southern Africa appoints Nazia Pillay as interim MD

Nazia succeeds Kholiwe Makhohliso who recently stepped down as managing director for SAP Southern Africa.

SAP Southern Africa, a German multinational software company, has named Nazia Pillay as interim MD. This follows 2023 CIO Awards judge Kholiwe Makhohliso’s departure from SAP earlier this month.

Nazia has spent more than two decades with SAP Southern Africa, having joined the company as a graduate: senior consultant in 2003. She has since held various junior to senior leadership roles, including support architect, head of SAP Active Quality Management, and SAP Customer Success Office Africa. Most recently, she served as head of the partner ecosystem for MEA South.

Nazia holds a Bcom in information systems and management from Rhodes University.
