Sibusiso will be responsible for IT in the soon-to-be-launched PPS New Ventures business.
The Professional Provident Society (PPS), South Africa's largest financial services company exclusively catering to graduate professionals, has announced the appointment of Sibusiso Mbingo as the chief information officer (CIO) for their upcoming venture, PPS New Ventures.
With more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Sibusiso Mbingo is a seasoned IT executive with technical expertise in IT development, design, architecture, and executive management. Notably, he is an agile evangelist specialising in implementing and promoting agility within corporate environments. Moreover, Sibusiso has a profound passion for mentoring and fostering the growth of individuals to unleash their full potential.
Prior to joining PPS, Sibusiso held prominent positions such as the head of technology at Absa Investment Management and the CIO for Momentum Metropolitan Africa. His educational background includes a national diploma in information technology from Tshwane University of Technology, a bachelor’s degree in IT from Unisa, and a master’s in management: digital business from Wits Business School.
As the new CIO for PPS New Ventures, Sibusiso Mbingo will assume responsibility for the information technology division and play a key role in shaping and driving the success of this exciting new business endeavour.
