Zweli will play a pivotal role in positioning ModenIT as a leading technology company specialising in bespoke IT solutions and cutting-edge data analytics.
ModenIT, a technology company that provides reliable technology solutions for business customers, has appointed Zweli Vilakazi as its new CEO. Zweli transitioned from the role of CFO to CEO, as the former chief financial officer at BCX. He was also the vice president: financial director for Massmart Wholesale.
Zweli is an experienced executive with a strong finance background, having held several CFO positions at prominent corporations, and an excellent track record in ICT, telecommunications and finance.
Zweli completed a BCom at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a postgraduate diploma in accounting from Unisa, a master’s in commerce: business management from the University of Johannesburg, and an MSc in corporate finance from the University of Liverpool. He also participated in Wits Business School’s executive development programme.
