Hamzah Asmall assumed the role of general manager for digitalisation at Al Baraka Bank South Africa in 2022. His primary expertise lies in digitalisation management, encompassing the identification of initiatives aimed at enhancing profitability, efficiency, and effectiveness within the business. He specialises in strategising the roadmap for digitalization initiatives, prioritising projects, evaluating and selecting digital service providers, as well as effectively communicating progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, including the board of directors and the group.
