Phokeng Mogase has been the CIO of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) since 2018, after serving as the MD of Ëmpeccable Technologies. Prior to this, she served as the CIO for the Cross Border Transport Agency from 2015 to 2017.
She started her career at EDS Africa as an information analyst and system engineer in 1999, and worked her way up to general manager of customer services for SITA in 2011.
Phokeng holds a master’s in change leadership from GIBS Business School, as well as a BComm from the University of North-West. She is currently completing her master’s in information technology through the University of Pretoria.
Phokeng was nominated for the 2025 CIO Awards for her current role.
