Warren Hero was appointed CIO and CDO of Webber Wentzel in May 2018. He is a man who likes to stay busy. He is also a guest lecturer at Wits University and a founding partner of inRes. Added to this Warren is a fellow in the ICA International Council for IT and an executive committee member at the Institute of Chartered IT professionals (ICITP). Before joining Webber Wentzel he was CTO at Microsoft and Eduloan. Warren has worked at FNB, Nedbank and ABSA. He is skilled in human centered design thinking, negotiation, enterprise risk management, business planning, business process design, and business and IT strategy. He has a Masters degree in technology and innovation from the Da Vinci Institute and B.Sc. in research and strategy from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His motto is, strive to be a good ancestor.
