Willie Stegmann was appointed Group CIO of Vodacom in October 2017. Prior to this he was the CIO of personal and business banking at Standard Bank. He has over twenty years experience in the financial services sector. Willie worked at ABSA as a general manager of Group IT. He also worked as the managing director of distributed technology services at Gijima. He has served on a number of boards including Vodacom, Nexio and Bankserv Africa. He has an MCom. and Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
