Celeste Koert joins Accenture Song as new MD: South Africa

Celeste succeeds James Barty, who has held the role since last year and will continue to support her in an advisory capacity.

Accenture Song, the world’s largest tech-powered creative group, has appointed Celeste Koert as managing director at Accenture Song South Africa.

Celeste is a seasoned management consultant with more than 20 years of experience in customer experience, service transformation, sales excellence and marketing reinvention. She is passionate about technology and data-led digital customer transformation, with creativity at the core of future-fit customer experiences.

Before joining Accenture Song, she spent nearly a decade at Deloitte as a director, leading digital customer experience and customer growth transformation. Prior to that, she was an associate director at EY.

Acknowledging James Barty’s leadership, Celeste expressed her gratitude for the strong foundation he has established and the opportunity to build upon it. She highlighted her belief in the power of creativity and reinvention to shape the future, emphasising the importance of digital transformation and innovation.

She holds a BCom (Hons) degree from the University of the Western Cape and a master’s in commerce from the University of South Africa.
