The appointment is consistent with Cyber’s customer-first strategy.

Cyber1 Solutions, a multiproduct and multijurisdictional leader in cyber security advisory and solutions, has named Jayson O’Reilly as its new MD. He will take over as managing director of Cyber1 Solutions on 1 December 2022, succeeding Mike Brown.

Jayson has over 24 years of experience and has previously worked as a cyber risk manager for DRS and Cyber1 Global. His experience and expertise range from cyber security consulting to thought leadership, strategic development, innovation, and execution.

According to Cyber1’s chief operating officer, Vivian Gevers, Jason takes on his new role at a time of consolidation and rebranding. “Our customers are asking for more innovation and more thought leadership, and we are constantly having to re-evaluate the value we are bringing to our clients to ensure they receive exactly that,” she says.

Jayson, she says, has been instrumental in advising Cyber1’s customers around the world on how to operate successfully in an evolving and complex threat landscape.

He believes that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to cyber security, and ticking boxes does not secure any business, which is why Cyber1 aims to challenge the norm, identify and close gaps in customers’ environments.
