Fezile Dali has been appointed CIO of business and commercial banking at Standard Bank, where he will be responsible for the development and execution of the division’s IT strategy.
In his new role, Fezile Dali will lead technology strategy and delivery across the business and commercial banking portfolio, aligning IT capabilities with the bank’s operational and growth objectives. The appointment follows his tenure as group chief technology officer at Standard Bank, a position in which he oversaw shared IT infrastructure services supporting four of the group’s business units.
Fezile brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on technology modernisation and digital transformation in the financial services sector. He joined Standard Bank six years ago after holding senior technology roles at organisations including Discovery Bank, the South African Revenue Services, and SITA.
He holds an honours in commerce from Wits University and a BCom in business management from Unisa. He has also completed executive and leadership development programmes through the University of Pretoria.
