Nollie brings a wealth of experience in the financial services to her latest role.
FirstRand, the largest financial institution by market capitalisation in Africa, has appointed Nollie Maoto as its new group compliance chief data and analytics officer, effective July 2024.
“I am a true testimony of ’Living an Answered Prayer’. A prayer God saw in the depths of my heart and felt I was deserving to be anointed and blessed with through His grace. My heart is overflowing with joy and gratitude as I share that I’m starting a new position as group compliance chief data and analytics officer,” Nollie wrote on her LinkedIn page.
Nollie began her career as a management consultant at Accenture. She then joined Momentum Wealth as an ecommerce business analyst.
Nollie’s first role in data analytics was with Paycorp Holdings (ATM Solutions). She later joined FNB South Africa, where she occupied roles such as executive head: business intelligence for ConnectMe, with two subsequent executive head roles in that division until being appointed as chief data analytics officer for ConnectMe, and later FNB Merchant Services, until July 2024. She was then promoted to her current role as group compliance data and analytics officer for FirstRand.
Nollie holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and participated in the University of Texas’s postgraduate programme in data science and data analytics. She is also a board member of the Utho Ngathi Disability Projects. This organisation supports persons with disabilities who are living in disadvantaged communities in South Africa, as well as Sizabantu and Projects Organisation, and Wired4Women.
