Glad will succeed outgoing CEO Nick Reed.
Glad Dibetso will take over as CEO designate of Inq. on 1 July 2023, reporting to Nick Reed, who will stay on as part of the transition process. The change is part of a succession plan approved by the board.
Glad hopes to continue to bolster Inq to become a truly pan-African business, consolidating its traditional connectivity business and accelerating EdgeDock, Inq.’s digital service offering.
Prior to joining Inq, Glad was the CEO of the Cloud Exchange and later joined the company’s advisory board. He is also a partner: cloud transformation and ICT operater at Deloitte. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in information systems and economics from the University of Cape Town and completed his MBA at the University of Pretoria.
