Mukosi Mukwevho is the new CTO at LexisNexis SA

Mukosi will be responsible for driving the company’s technical strategy and ambitious digital growth plans.

LexisNexis South Africa has appointed cloud computing enthusiast Mukosi Mukwevho as its new chief technology officer. Mukosi has more than 24 years’ experience of commercial software, and has played a key role in driving technological advancements at LexisNexis SA.

Mukosi has also led several local and international organisations in critical industries such as chemical manufacturing, information technology consulting, retail, banking, telecommunications, cloud computing, and space exploration. He was the acting managing director for earth observation at the South African National Space Agency.

As the demand for online legal solutions grows, Mukwevho, who is interested in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing, among other things, will be in charge of developing and implementing a future-proof IT strategy, providing customers with the technology to make their experience as simple and stress-free as possible.
