With a proven track record in IT leadership and a passion for digital transformation, Siyabonga is poised to drive innovation and efficiency at the National Home Builders Registration Council.
The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) has appointed Siyabonga Dyosiba as its new chief information officer, effective January 2025.
The NHBRC is a statutory body, established in 1998, in terms of the Housing Consumers Protection Measures Act, to protect the interests of housing consumers and to regulate the home building industry,
Siyabonga brings a wealth of experience in IT leadership, with a strong track record in IT strategic planning, governance, and operational management, encompassing IT infrastructure, services and business applications. Passionate about digital transformation, Siyabonga is committed to leveraging technology to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Before joining the NHBRC, Siyabonga was senior manager: information and communication technology at FoodBev Manufacturing SETA. He also held other senior management roles, including facilities and information manager at Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA).
Siyabonga holds a BTech in information technology from Tshwane University of Technology, a postgraduate diploma in management practice from Henley Business School, and a master’s in management: digital business from the University of the Witwatersrand.
