Yosheen Padayachee has been appointed group CIO of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica), where she will lead the organisation’s technology strategy and execution as it advances its digital transformation agenda.
She joins Saica from Tsebo Solutions Group, where she served as group IT director for nearly five years, overseeing enterprise-wide technology operations and transformation initiatives. Yosheen brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology leadership and has held senior roles at major financial services institutions, including Momentum and FNB.
“I am looking forward to strengthening Saica’s digital foundations while enabling innovation that supports members, the profession and the public interest at scale,” she said.
Her professional background includes leading complex, large-scale IT programmes across multiple industries, as well as developing enterprise technology strategies, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and strengthening governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
Yosheen is currently pursuing a doctorate in technology and innovation at the DaVinci Institute. She holds a master of technology and innovation from the same institution and a BCom in informatics from Unisa.
