Sam Nkosi has been the chief information officer (CIO) of Santam Insurance since July 2023. Before this, he was the CIO of Sasria SOC and the Auditor-General of South Africa. He has extensive experience in leading digital transformation for technology operations of well-known organisations like Absa, Fujitsu, SARS, Standard Bank, and Investec prior to this. 

Additionally, Sam is a proponent of continuously learning and improving. He has taken part in several programmes around digital transformation and leadership at the Harvard Business School, as well as the CIO Academy at Saïd Business School (University of Oxford), and holds a Master's in Information Systems from Leeds Beckett University.
