Belgotex Floorcoverings chief information officer Ricardo Springolo has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards.
Ricardo Springolo has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards for his role as Belgotex Floorcoverings chief information officer.
Ricardo joined Belgotex Floorcoverings in 2009. He previously served as senior information technology manager and an analyst programmer at the company.
He is among the nominees competing to take home one (or more) of the awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of IT” this year, including the CIO of the Year title.
He began his career as a software developer at Planahead Management Systems. Ricardo holds a diploma in information technology programming from Varsity College.
Following the success of the fifth annual CIO Awards in 2025, CIO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in IT and their achievements. On 25 November, the 2026 nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Inanda Club in Sandton.
