Huawei strengthens its commitment to South Africa’s IT leaders

The ICT powerhouse has signed on as CIO South Africa’s newest Principal Partner.

Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, has thrown its support behind the CIO South Africa community and its newly launched Executive Communities. With integrated solutions spanning telecom networks, IT, smart devices, and cloud services, Huawei is backing the fastest-growing IT community in Mzansi.

As Principal Partner, Huawei will provide strong support for the community while leveraging the opportunity to enhance brand awareness and connect with top executives eager to build relationships and explore cutting-edge solutions.

Speaking at the CIO South Africa “Smarter IT” summit, York Ning, director of enterprise marketing and solutions at Huawei South Africa, said: “Our partnership with CIO South Africa is a significant opportunity to expand the Huawei brand. The Principal Partnership will see Huawei participate in all the CIO South Africa community events in the 2025 calendar, including CIO Day, the CIO Pitch Parade and the CIO Awards, among others.
