Nomonde White-Ndlovu appointed as the CIO of Bidvest Bank as of 1 December

The technology executive moves across to Bidvest Bank from Absa and previously Barclays Africa.

Nomonde White-Ndlovu has been appointed as the CIO of Bidvest Bank, starting 1 December.

Nomonde is a seasoned technology executive, who previously headed up governance and reporting for Absa’s Information Technology Office. She also served as the joint-CIO for Absa’s Infrastructure Services and head of technology for Absa Regional Operations.

She began her technology career at UCS Solutions, and has served at other multinationals including British American Tobacco. She also advocates for the upliftment and recognition of women in the IT industry in her role as the chairperson of Wired4Women.

She holds a BCom degree in law and politics from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) and has recently completed her MBA through the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). She has also completed a number of courses through the Wits Business School, Harvard Business School, the MIT Sloane School of Management, the London School of Business and Economics, and the Kellogg School – Northwestern University.
