Jörg Fischer was appointed as Group CIO for the Standard Bank Group in July 2022. He has worked for the bank for over 26 years. He has held various leadership positions, including Executive Head of Group Shared Services, and Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer. Jörg also served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer for the bank's Personal and Business Banking (PBB) Group.
