Nomonde White-Ndlovu was appointed as the CIO of Bidvest Bank in December 2021. She  is a seasoned technology executive, who previously headed up governance and reporting for Absa’s Information Technology Office. Nomonde also served as the joint-CIO for Absa’s Infrastructure Services and head of technology for Absa Regional Operations. She began her technology career at UCS Solutions as a service delivery manager. Nomonde has also held positions at British American Tobacco and Barclays Africa Group. She also advocates for the upliftment and recognition of women in the IT industry in her role as the chairperson of Wired4Women. She holds a BCom degree in law and politics from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA through the Gordon Institute of Business Science. She has also completed a number of courses through the Wits Business School, Harvard Business School, the MIT Sloane School of Management, the LSE, and The Kellogg School – Northwestern University.
