Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) has announced the appointment of Keneilwe Gwabeni as its new group chief information officer.
With more than 20 years of experience, Keneilwe takes on the responsibility of driving the development and execution of the company’s IT strategy.
She joins RMA from Assupol Holdings where she most recently served as group chief information officer. Her career includes senior technology and leadership roles across the telecommunications, financial services and public sectors. Keneilwe has built a track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and is recognised for her ability to align technology with business objectives.
Her appointment reflects RMA’s focus on strengthening its technology capability and ensuring that innovation supports the company’s growth priorities. Keneilwe’s expertise will be central to enhancing the company’s digital platforms and supporting operational efficiency.
She holds a BCom honours in information systems and a BTech in information technology. She has also completed an IT project management course through the University of Johannesburg.
Through her professional roles and contributions to the industry, Keneilwe has established herself as an influential figure in the South African technology landscape.
