Succession Financial Planning Advisory Services chief information officer Mohammad Malik has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards.
Mohammad Malik has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards for his role as Succession Financial Planning Advisory Services chief information officer.
Mohammad joined Succession Financial Planning Advisory Services in 2017. He previously served as head of operations, as well as a compliance, advice and risk manager at the company.
He is among the nominees competing to take home one (or more) of the awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of IT” this year, including the CIO of the Year title.
He began his career as a complex claims examiner and investigator at AIG South Africa. Mohammad holds a master of business administration, a postgraduate diploma in compliance, a BHSc honours in forensic sciences and a BSc in psychology and human physiology.
Following the success of the fifth annual CIO Awards in 2025, CIO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in IT and their achievements. On 25 November, the 2026 nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Inanda Club in Sandton.
