Grant Kemp assumes chief information and digital officer role at PwC

Grant will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital and technology strategy aligned with PwC Africa’s business objectives and global goals.

PwC South Africa has elevated Grant Kemp to the role of chief information and digital officer. He previously served as the audit firm’s chief information officer.

With more than 20 years of experience in the information technology sector, including more than a decade in leadership roles. Grant brings a wealth of knowledge in aligning technology strategies with business goals in the evolving digital landscape.

Grant began his career as an IT/telecommunications engineer at MCT Telecommunications before joining Panasonic as an IT technician. In 2012, he joined PwC South Africa as manager of network and unified communications. His career at PwC has seen him hold several leadership roles, including senior manager of technology research and development, chief technology officer, and most recently, CIO, before assuming his new role. 

He holds a diploma in IT engineering from CTI Education Group.
