Nomonde White-Ndlovu joins the 2024 CIO Awards nominees list

Bidvest Bank’s CIO has secured a nomination for the prestigious awards.

Nomonde White-Ndlovu, CIO at Bidvest Bank, now stands a chance to walk away with the coveted CIO of the Year title. The 2024 CIO Awards recognise individuals who have excelled in an IT capacity in their respective industries, built and led great teams, and effectively completed crucial initiatives in their organisations.

The awards also highlight the world-class excellence that has come to be associated with South Africa’s top IT executives.

Nomonde began her technology career at UCS Solutions as a service delivery manager. She has also held positions at British American Tobacco and Barclays Africa Group. As the chairperson of Wired4Women, she advocates for the upliftment and recognition of women in the IT industry. In addition, Nomonde serves as the operations director at The Model C Foundation, which provides tutoring and mentorship to children from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

Nomonde holds a BCom degree in law and politics from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. She has completed courses at Wits Business School, Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, London School of Economics, and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
