Ebrahim Rahman has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards for his role as head of IT at Epson Middle East
Ebrahim is among the nominees competing to take home one (or more) of the nine awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of IT”, including the CIO of the Year title.
Ebrahim has been head of IT at Epson Middle East since 2024. Prior to joining Epson, he was the SAP IT applications manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, and SAP integration manager at BCX. He also spent a decade with UCS Solutions, occupying roles such as cloud delivery manager and his last role as SAP client delivery manager.
He studied electrical engineering at Durban University of Technology. Additionally, Ebrahim has completed Stellenbosch University’s management development programme (MDP) and holds multiple SAP certifications.
Following the success of the fifth annual CIO Awards in 2026, CIO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in IT and their achievements. On 25 November, the 2026 nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Inanda Club in Sandton.
