Anand Naidoo has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards for his achievements as CTO at Hello Group.
Anand is among the nominees competing to take home one (or more) of the nine awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of IT”, including the CIO of the Year title.
Anand has held the position of CTO at Hello Group since 2021, prior to being promoted to this role he was a product development lead. Previous leadership roles include IT audit manager and associate director at Deloitte, and IT audit consultant at Sars.
He holds an honours in computer science from the University of Johannesburg.
Following the success of the fifth annual CIO Awards in 2026, CIO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in IT and their achievements. On 25 November, the 2026 nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Inanda Club in Sandton.
