Mr Price Group’s Kim Sim joins the list of leaders competing for the CIO of the Year title.
Kim Sim has been nominated for her work as the CIO of Mr Price Group.
She joins the list of nominees who will be competing to take home one (or more) of the nine awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of IT”, including the prestigious CIO of the Year title.
Kim has been the CIO of Mr Price Group since November 2019, after serving as the chief information and innovation officer for Dis-Chem Pharmacies. Prior to this, she was the IT and Projects executive.
Kim started her career in retail and spent the next decade playing various roles across SAP software implementations for a variety of retailers. Kim was a senior manager and retail solutions architect at UCS Solutions, before leaving to take a fulltime role at Dis-Chem.
Following the success of the third annual CIO Awards in 2024, CIO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in IT and their achievements. On 13 November, the 2025 nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Inanda Club in Sandton.
