Peter Robb has been nominated for the 2026 CIO Awards for his achievements as group CIO at Omnia.
Peter is among the nominees competing to take home one (or more) of the nine awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of IT”, including the CIO of the Year title.
Peter has been the group CIO at Omnia since mid-2024. His responsibilities include governance, architecture, procurement, operations, cybersecurity and delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple geographies.
Previous IT leadership roles include the Big Five consulting space where he provided advisory services to CIOs across multiple industry sectors, MultiChoice Group and Nedbank.
He holds a master's in IT from the University of Pretoria; an executive MBA from the University of Cape Town and MAP+ Advanced Management qualification from Henley Business School.
Following the success of the fifth annual CIO Awards in 2026, CIO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in IT and their achievements. On 25 November, the 2026 nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Polo Room in Sandton.
